We’re ahead of 2021 pace in food donation to Kyrene Family Resource Center!

The Esperanza community once again is showing its generosity with its donation of food to Kyrene Family Resource Center.

It’s early, but through mid January, you have donated 40 pounds of food, which is ahead of the pace in 2021, when the Esperanza community donated 631 pounds of food! At this rate, our 2022 donation would approach 1,000 pounds! A half ton!

Keep it up! Bear in mind that the need for food does not end as the holidays fade behind us.

Kyrene Family Resource Center in Tempe supports basic needs for all Kyrene School District students, who are middle school and younger.

If needed, Kyrene families and employees may receive support from the center for immediate needs, such as gently used school clothing, food, hygiene supplies and school supplies.

Esperanza members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food and school supplies. Donations can be placed in the KFRC box in the Fellowship Hall. Peggy and Larry Hanson will deliver all donated food to the center on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
