If you’ve ever had the sense of dread that accompanies the approach of Valentine’s Day, then this is for you, anxious one.
What to do? Where to go? Can someone please help?!
The answers to all of the above might be simpler than you think. Just mark your calendar for Esperanza’s special Valentine’s dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Buca di Beppo, 7111 W. Ray Road, Chandler. (Yes, it’s three days ahead of the big day, but why not beat the rush?)
Each couple or group will pay for itself, and a room at the restaurant will be reserved for Esperanza. It’s going to be fun, and you’re free to tell your sweetheart that this swell idea was all yours.
To sign up, add your name to the list in the church narthex or email Peggy Wagner at [email protected]. Include your name, the number of people in your party and your email address.
Fun fact about Buca: It was founded by Phil Roberts, a Lutheran from Kewanee, Illinois, who opened the first one in the basement of a Minneapolis apartment building 30 years ago. (How cool is that?)
