Worship with us on the Great Three Days of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Vigil of Easter by logging onto our YouTube channel or accessing from our worship page. There is one worship bulletin for the Three Days which may be downloaded here
For the best experience of worship, we invite you to have a few things ready for each day:
Maundy Thursday
The Gospels narrate two events on the Thursday before Jesus’ death: his last extraordinary meal with his followers and his symbolic gesture of washing their feet. During worship we are invited to participate in both expressions of faithfulness. For this service:
A bowl of water and wash cloth (optional)
Bread and wine/grape juice
Good Friday
This day is marked with austerity, silence, and reflection. We hear the story of Jesus’ Passion and see the light gradually fade. The story is told by members of the congregation. For this service:
Up to seven lit candles
Vigil of Easter
This night brings us from the darkness of Good Friday into the Light of the Risen Christ. We hear God’s Salvation Story and celebrate the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion. The stories are told by members of the congregation. For this service:
Bowl of water
One or more candles to light during the service.
Bread and wine/grape juice
May God bless us as we join in worship to hear God’s Word speaking to us God’s grace, mercy, and love, and leading us into resurrection joy.
