Last Friday, if you passed by the church campus you may have noticed that the trees were being trimmed.
This is an annual or every-other-year effort. For many years, the expense has been paid for through an additional gift of treasure by an Esperanza family.
This year, the expense will no longer be supported by this additional gift.
Therefore, the expense has been paid out of the Property Renovation Fund as it was not budgeted for as part of the General Fund.
Thank you for your ongoing gifts to Esperanza that support not only services and other programs but also necessary tasks like tree maintenance. As usual, undesignated contributions to the General Fund allow your gifts to be used wherever they are most needed and in accordance with the budget that we decide on together at the beginning of each year.
