To all of the dedicated souls who so kindly have gotten up early on Saturdays — whether it was hot or cold, whether you truly were rested or not — to give your time and skill at the Habitat House, thank you so much!
And now, take a well-earned rest this Saturday, Feb. 12!
The scheduled landscaping work has been postponed another week because grading and block-wall prep work have not been completed. Last Saturday also was a non-work day because of this.
On the bright side, look how much progress we’ve made, including completion of the exterior painting!
We have been told that we finally may be able to do the landscaping on Feb. 19. We’ll remain hopeful that the prep work will be done so that we add curb appeal with the landscaping and move forward toward completion of the house.
