Our New Year’s Resolution: Add a ton, and we’re on pace!

We are so proud of the generosity of our congregation! This month, you already have donated 22 pounds of food to the Kyrene Family Resource Center in Tempe, bringing our early-year total to 111 pounds!

We are on pace to donate more than 1,000 pounds this year – a half ton! Thank you to all who donated!

Keep it up! The need for food does not end just because the holidays fade behind us! The top priority is healthy snacks for kids, specifically granola bars, gold-fish crackers (smaller bags), fruit snacks and apple sauce.

We encourage you to step up and help our neighbors in need! Donations may be placed in the KFRC box in the Fellowship Hall. Peggy and Larry Hanson deliver all donated food to the center on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

Kyrene Family Resource Center supports basic needs of all Kyrene School District students, kindergarten through middle school. If needed, Kyrene families and employees may receive support from the center for immediate needs, such as gently used school clothing, food and hygiene supplies.
