We are looking for someone to replace Liz Farquhar as editor of the Words of Hope newsletter. Liz will leave her post on January 1.
The editor gathers news and announcements and prepares them for posting to the website and in the newsletter. As a reporter, the editor collects news from staff, council, team leaders and members of the Esperanza community. He or she then writes short engaging stories and finds images to illustrate them. Strong writing skills, good judgement and a knowledge of our church and its people are essential. Education and/or experience in journalism or marketing is desirable as well as online publishing skills (we offer training).
