I-HELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program sponsored by AZCEND) is a ministry that provides meals and shelter nights to homeless adults. The program assists them with finding employment through a case management program. Esperanza partners with Desert Cross Lutheran, 8600 South McClintock, Tempe, AZ 85284.
Our next opportunity to serve is Tuesday, September 24, volunteers arrive at 4:30 pm to set up, make sack lunches, serve our guests and enjoy dinner with them. We are planning dinner of roast beef donated by Dave Krabbe and prepared by the Schutts and green bean casserole prepared by Peggy Hanson.
