I-HELP Receives Needed Help From Esperanza in August

Thank you to all of our volunteers who served guests at the Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program, or I-HELP, on Tuesday, Aug. 22. We continue to enjoy visiting with them, and all of their stories need to be heard. Some had found employment and were continuing with I-HELP to find housing, and others were new to the program.

Esperanza’s Outreach Team has been partnering with Desert Cross Lutheran Church in Tempe to serve I-HELP. This ministry provides shelter nights to homeless adults as well as a case management program that assists with finding jobs.

For more information about Esperanza’s work with I-HELP, call Linda Dickson at (480) 330-1402. The next opportunity to serve will be Nov. 28.
