Help Needed for Pancake Breakfast for Homeless Feb. 11

Esperanza needs volunteers to help prepare and serve a pancake breakfast to homeless individuals on Sunday, Feb. 11, in downtown Phoenix.

Grace Lutheran Church hosts the breakfast every Sunday. Here is what volunteers need to know:

  • Volunteers will need to be on-site at Grace Lutheran from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 8:30 a.m. to prepare and serve pancakes and sausage to as many as 100 people, and also to clean up.
  • Grace Lutheran will provide the food supplies and equipment.
  • We need 12 to 15 volunteers, preferably a mix of youth (age 12 and older) and adults. At least half of our volunteers must be 18 or older.
  • A liaison from Grace Lutheran will be in attendance to provide guidance.

If you are interested in participating and perhaps carpooling, fill in the form below or contact Larry Hanson at (480) 231-4023 or [email protected].
