Progress continues at the Jama house, albeit a bit slower than we had planned.
This week, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we will not be working, but those who are available during the week are welcome to join us on Tuesday, November 30. Our plan had been to begin putting up ceiling drywall last Saturday, but as the pre-drywall inspection hadn’t been completed, we had to delay the drywall until the next Saturday, December 4. Fortunately, this freed up time to complete other tasks.
We had a great group of volunteers ready to do the drywall, and we hope many more will be coming back on December 4.
Thanks again to all of the volunteers. You’ve helped make this an excellent house for the Jama family. If you’ve been part of our crew this season, please plan on returning and helping us! with this build.
