Habitat for Humanity: A House Starts Looking Like a Home

Jim Gisselquist updates us on the progress at our Habitat for Humanity house. We need a good turnout this Saturday to finish the drywall!

A man standing in a roomWe’re hoping for a good turnout of volunteers this coming Saturday, December 18, when we expect to finish the drywalling effort. We’ve been fortunate to have a good number of workers over the past two weeks and have made excellent progress. The Jama house is looking more like a home each week.

This week the youth of Esperanza served lunch to the volunteers. The chili, cornbread, muffins, fruit, etc. were a great hit amongst all of us. Many thanks for this great meal.
