Join us as we gather around the table of the Lord for First Communion Sunday on April 10 following an exciting and delicious First Communion Workshop at Esperanza Lutheran Church.
Esperanza youth gathered for two sessions to eat together, learn and bake.
We began each workshop with lunch. We continued by watching videos about Jesus wrapping his arms around us and loving us through the bread and wine.
We learned that there is a place for everyone at the table of the Lord!
While Jesus loves us through Holy Communion, we, too, can share Jesus’ love. We did this by baking Communion bread to share with our Esperanza community.
Becky Klein who has been baking delicious bread for Esperanza for more than 10 years, showed us how it was done.
