Fifteen volunteers from Esperanza prepared and served a pancake breakfast on Feb. 11 at Grace Lutheran Church in downtown Phoenix, feeding the homeless in the area.
About 150 plates of food were prepared for approximately 100 guests. Preparation of breakfast began at 6:30 a.m., and cleanup was completed by 8:45. Our host, Grace Lutheran, was very appreciative of the Esperanza team.
