Esperanza is taking the lead in organizing Church World Services’ Ahwatukee Foothills CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, Nov. 13, at Desert Foothills Park.
The fundraising event supports the global mission of CWS, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster.
Approximately 25 percent of the dollars raised will be donated to a local food bank, yet to be named.
