Several Esperanza members supported Kyrene de la Esperanza’s students by attending their STEM fair on Jan. 24. Eight students had projects to display, and STEM stations were set up by the K-2 teachers and students. Thank you to the volunteers who signed up to help with any part of the fair. It was much appreciated by the school’s staff!
Kyrene de la Esperanza’s principal, Carolyn Payne, gratefully accepted our church’s recent donation of $1,000, to be used for students. The principal says that $500 will go toward helping to support students who are unable to pay for the cost of field trips. The other $500 will be used for purchasing additional materials for the school’s STEM lab, and this will directly impact all grade levels.
