The service is ecumenical and open to the community, in response to the difficulty experienced by many during a season that our culture has made a festival of merriment. For those who have suffered loss or who are lonely, disappointed, sad or rejected, the cheer can emphasize their pain.
This year’s Blue Christmas service will be in person only and will not be streamed online—with a desire to provide a safe space for our grief.
