Esperanza is participating in the “Cozy Nights for Older Adults” drive in support of Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest. LSS-SW provides services and care for over 1,300 older adults and those with disabilities in Arizona. Many of their clients are low-income and do not have the resources to purchase new sheets. New and clean sheets would make an incredible difference in feeling comfortable and warm on a cool winter evening.
We are conducting a “Cozy Nights for Older Adults” bedding drive to support the work of Lutheran Social Service of the Southwest (LSS-SW). The drive will begin on Sunday, October 31st and continue through December 12th.
While working on your Christmas gift list, please include new queen size sheet sets for those in need. Bring your new queen size sheets to the collection box at church and they will be delivered to the LSS-SW facility as they are received.
