Exciting news: our annual Ladies Christmas Bunco party is back on December 12 after a two-year hiatus due to COVID! Plan to attend on December 12 at 6:30 p.m. The photo from our 2019 party illustrates how much fun we have!
Jayne Peterson has once again invited the women of the church to her home for this fun event. If you have never played bunco, don’t worry! Bunco is an easy-to-learn game that makes it easy to chat with other women at the party. At the end of the evening, we have a gift swap that includes a lot of stealing and trading and laughter! Ladies, bring your grown-up daughter or invite a friend! All are welcome!
The festivities start at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 12 at Jayne’s house (see below). This year we are supporting the Voices of CASA Children program, which promotes and supports volunteer advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Here are the details:
Location: Jayne Peterson’s house – 14604 S. 1st Street, Phoenix. Parking is on S. 1st Street at the bottom of the Peterson’s long steep driveway, so so wear comfortable shoes and carpool if you can. Please let us know if you need assistance.
Bring:
- A Christmas-themed gift for our gift exchange, such as a decoration, Christmas craft, cooking items, home goods, accessories, etc. Wrap your gift and keep it a secret — and please don’t spend more than $20-25.
- Community Service Contribution – $10 fast food gift cards for Voices of CASA , a program that Esperanza supports benefitting children in foster care.
- Appetizer or Dessert (if you bring guests– just bring one for you all)
