God is calling us to live as people of faith in a world of abundance, yet it also is a world where people are going hungry.
A seeming conundrum? Not necessarily.
Join us between worship services on Sundays during Lent as we take a deeper look.
Our “Hunger Catechism” is March 6, 13, 27 and April 3. Each lesson begins with Martin Luther’s interpretations in both the Small and Large Catechisms and discusses their spiritual implications and social applications.
We’ll have examples of how the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is working alongside neighbors within the U.S. and around the world through the ministry of ELCA World Hunger. We’ll discuss how you and I can make a difference in our own community. And we’ll take questions.
On March 20, join in a special presentation by Solveig Muus, our special guest presenter!
