Esperanza celebrates the birth of Jesus at two outdoor services on Christmas Eve. The service will also be available online around 6 p.m.
Online registration for the drive-in event is closed, but a few spots are left (you may not have a perfect view of the altar). If you would like to attend and have not registered, contact Michael Paradise at 703-595-8885. for availability and details.
Worshippers will remain inside their cars. to prevent possible coronavirus exposure. Upon arrival, worshippers will be given a printed Order of Service (also available online) and a bag containing enough sealed packages of communion elements for everyone in the car. The service includes music (live and recorded) and singing, with sound provided by radio at 87.9 FM.
Guidelines for attendance, emailed to everyone who registered, are available here.
We are requesting that if at all possible you drive a sedan to the service instead of a truck, SUV or crossover, in order to ensure that everyone can see the stage. If it is necessary to drive one of the large vehicles you will be asked to arrive early to park in the back row.
