Through the efforts of the Outreach Team, Esperanza has officially adopted a city of Phoenix street!
Our street will be the one-mile stretch of South Ranch Circle between Ray Road and Mountain Parkway. We are committed for two years, with at least four cleanups per year, which probably will be in the second month of each quarter. Details to follow regarding specific dates.
There was no charge for us to participate in this valuable program, and the city will provide Esperanza Lutheran Church signs at the start and end of our adopted street segment. The city also provides garbage bags and safety vests for participants. Additionally, Kyrene de la Esperanza Elementary School (with whom we partner) is located on the corner of South Ranch Circle and South 41st Place!
Join us in this very visible community outreach program and wear your Esperanza T-shirts. All are welcome – including children with adult supervision. More information to follow soon!
