Esperanza will again celebrate the Fourth of July holiday during the Ahwatukee Chamber of Commerce annual children’s bicycle parade!
The parade will begin at 8:15 a.m. at the Foothills Baptist Church parking lot on Friday, July 4th. It will end at Thunderhill Park, directly across the street from Esperanza. The chamber will provide hot dogs, drinks, music, entertainment, and prizes. The fire department will shower folks (both big and small) with their fire hoses! The event will end at 11 a.m.
Show your community spirit and decorate your bikes, trikes, scooters, wagons, or baby strollers and join the parade! Then meet up with your Esperanza community at the conclusion.
Esperanza will use this opportunity to connect with the Ahwatukee community and make them aware of our welcoming church and congregation. We will be offer face painting, bubbles, fans, and additional treats for all of the cyclists and parents.
If you would like to help, please email the outreach team at [email protected] or use the signup sheets available in the narthex. We need volunteers to assist with tent set-up, tent tear-down, face painting, and manning the tents. We hope you will join us for this fun event!
