On June 2, volunteers from Esperanza provided dinner for families in the process of transitioning to permanent housing. Three families, including three moms and four children, as well as three volunteers were served a delicious meal of roasted chicken, two kinds of salad, French bread and butter and homemade dessert.
The families had dinner and stayed overnight at Desert Foothills United Methodist Church. Rick and Donna Sparber served as overnight hosts.
