This Week’s Stewardship Focus: Ensuring our Service

Our stewardship appeal’s goal this year is to increase giving by $356/week in 2024 compared to 2023 in order to expand our Mission Plan in 2024. The goal is based on projected increased needs across three areas of ministry. This week, we are focusing on the third of these areas, “Strengthening our Service.” Please look over the online copy of the bulletin insert from Sunday, Nov. 5, for more information on this topic, including funding our mission partnerships with the Lutheran Church in Mexico and the Grand Canyon Synod.

The insert also includes giving statistics from the current 56 giving units and one possible scenario of reaching our financial goal via increases from some current givers as well as growing the number of givers to 61. Please use this information to help you find context for your current giving level and consider your 2024 giving intent. Thank you for your continued prayerful support of Esperanza!

Change My Heart, O God, that God may help us grow in service, in love for God and the neighbor, and in generosity.

At the beginning of our stewardship education, worshippers cut paper hearts and signed them for our tree praying “Change my Heart O God”.  When intent cards are received, decorated hearts are placed on tree showing our answered prayers.  Please complete either the online intent form which will be emailed on Thursday or return the physical intent card to worshp service on Sunday, November 12th, which was mailed on Monday.
