I am so excited to share with you a new connection of faith formation as part of our Sunday Funday School. Through family friendly service opportunities, youth and their families will put their faith into action. Esperanza Sunday Funday School will be part of three service opportunities for the families to serve together.
Our first faith in action family service opportunity will be on Sunday August 13th. On this day we will be joining the Esperanza community at Grace Lutheran Church in downtown Phoenix to serve pancakes to those who are experiencing homelessness. On August 13th Sunday School families will meet at 6:30AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 1124 North 3rd Street, Phoenix, Az 85004. This is a family event where children and parents serve together!
Throughout the year at our Sunday Funday School we will learn how God gifted the world Jesus to show us how to love and serve in the world. Together we will study the parables of Jesus and how Jesus taught his disciples to care for God’s children. Jesus led by serving others and we are going to lead like Jesus too!

Sunday August 13th – Sunday Funday School serving pancakes at Grace Lutheran 6:30AM to 8:30AM.
Sunday August 20th – First Sunday Funday learning upstairs 10:15AM- 11:00AM
