The Kyrene Family Resource Center (KFRC) has asked Esperanza for help. There are many families in the Kyrene School District that are struggling to provide adequate school supplies for their children. KFRC’s goal is to pack 700 backpacks with school supplies. To meet this need, Esperanza will conduct a school supplies and backpack drive from June 28 to July 12. Following is a list of needed supplies: • New backpacks (19” and larger) • Paper • Tab/dividers for notebooks • Pocket folders • 3” binders • Crayons and markers • Spiral notebooks • Glue sticks & Elmer’s glue • Scissors and colored pencils • Loose leaf paper • Pens (black, blue, and red) Please place backpacks and school supplies in the shopping cart in the Fellowship Hall, or separate container if available.
