Every Sunday, Grace Lutheran Church located in downtown Phoenix hosts a pancake breakfast for the homeless. On November 27, Esperanza will prepare and serve the breakfast. Following are key details:
- Volunteers will need to be on-site (Grace Lutheran) from 6:30 AM to approximately 8:30 AM to prepare and serve pancakes and sausage, and cleanup.
- Could serve two hundred people.
- Grace Lutheran will provide the food supplies and equipment.
- Need 12-15 volunteers.
- Would like a mix of youth (12 and older) and adults. At least half of our volunteers must be 18 or older.
- A liaison from Grace Lutheran will be in attendance to provide guidance.
- Volunteers are invited to attend Grace Lutheran’s 8:30 AM church service.
- We will arrange for carpooling for those interested.
