Come one, come all, to team up in the cleaning and organizing of Hidden Treasures Thrift Shop before they open their doors for another week of service to the community.
Hidden Treasures is a nonprofit ,faith-based entity giving grants to community-focused 501(c)3s. Their focus is to turn gently used items into dollars that they donate to local charities, youth programs, and other nonprofit organizations through grants, with their origins tied to local Lutheran churches.
The success of Hidden Treasures depends on its volunteers. Whether volunteering once, once a month, or once a week, they are always in need of those willing to give of their own time and treasures, so that they can give back to others.
All ages are welcome to help, provided that all young children are supervised by an adult.
You can add your name to the sign-up sheet in the Fellowship Hall.
When: Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Where: 610 N. Alma School Road, Chandler (located in small strip mall)
Parking: In front of the store (meet in front of the store)
What to bring: Cash if you would like to shop before you leave. No credit cards accepted. Store is not open for business on Sundays.
