Tonight: Joint Thanksgiving Eve Worship with Mountain View Lutheran Church

Our Thanksgiving Eve worship service resumes! We’re happy to gather together with Mountain View Lutheran Church, at 11002 S 48th Street in Ahwatukee tonight at 6:30.  Come and worship!

One of our continued blessings is the ability to provide canned goods for Generations Food Pantry and care for those less fortunate than ourselves. This year we’ll suspend our practice of forming a “human chain” to bring food offerings from the altar to the Generations box truck waiting to collect goods for transport to the Food Pantry. Instead, we will have a common collection area as you arrive.

For this joint service we will share the same masking policy, asking all attendees – vaccinated or not – to remain masked throughout the service.

And we’re excited to resume our Pie Social after worship! Our health and safety precautions for the evening include the following:

We encourage all pies to be delivered prior to the start of worship at 6:30 p.m. To control food handling concerns, please no homemade items.

Pie pieces will be prepared by staff and volunteers onto individual plates in the Family Life Center. Weather permitting, we will offer seating in both the FLC and out in the courtyard area to maximize airflow and offer a variety of ways for those participating to do so in a matter that feels most comfortable for all.

We are looking forward to seeing you all for our Thanksgiving celebration. Even in these different times, we are blessed to be church together, working together to strengthen the work of the body of Christ. See you soon!
