Following our Maundy Thursday service, we turn our attention to Jesus’ journey to the cross. Friday evening at 7pm our worship continues as we witness the story again of Jesus’ betrayal, trial before civil and religious authorities, and condemnation to the cross and the grave.
We are blessed to receive the gift of music through the passionate voices of Promesa de Esperanza, which again will lead in telling the story of God’s love found on a cross. They will present the cantata, “Candles of Grace” by Joseph M. Martin and Brad Nix. At the conclusion of our Good Friday service, we depart in silence, awaiting the joy of the empty tomb found again Easter morning.
