Hidden Treasures: Thrift Shop Has a Heart for Those in Need

Cleaning out your closets and other household items? Looking to volunteer your time for an excellent cause?

Please consider Hidden Treasures Thrift Shop, located at 610 N. Alma School Road in Chandler. Hidden Treasures is a non-profit, faith-based thrift shop. It opened its doors 16 years ago through the loving support of local Lutheran churches, which provided grant money and dedicated volunteers in the mission of giving to those in need. It continues to provide affordable, gently used personal and household items to the community. Staffed only by volunteers, with one paid manager position, the shop now supports other local non-profit organizations, charities, youth programs, and more.

Donations go to filling shelves for the many people looking for “hidden treasures” and also to help those experiencing homelessness, those in transitional housing, and organizations such as Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest. Donations are tax deductible.

Items requested include:

  • Antiques
  • Art
  • Books, CDs, DVDs
