Habitat for Humanity House: Windows and Ceilings Are In!

Jim Gisselquist updates us on progress at our Habitat for Humanity house. We’ve been able to build a house a year for 26 years because of the financial support coming from southeast valley cities. Give to Habitat for Humanity

We’ve now completed our 13th week of this build. Windows are in, wall insulation installed and the ceiling drywall is completed – thanks to a great group of volunteers. Completion of the ceiling drywall means that we no longer have to wear hard hats – YEA!! We even completed a few of the interior walls on Tuesday (12/7)

The ceilings look great and the house is coming along nicely. On Saturday we will install drywall, hopefully finishing this week.

Again, we’re hoping that we continue to get a good number of volunteers. Please consider joining us this Saturday at 677 W. 19th Street, Tempe. We start at 7:30 a.m. and finish around 1:30 with lunch at 11. All required tools are provided.
