The Arizona tax law allows you to make a donation to Habitat and get a dollar – for – dollar tax credit. That means that each dollar you donate to Habitat reduces the amount you pay to Arizona by one dollar. The limits for this year are $495 for individual filing and $987 for joint filing. The easiest way to donate is to go to habitatcaz.org and click on “support us.” Be sure to put Esperanza in the “Designation” box.
You can also donate by writing a check made out to HabitatCAZ. You can put the check in the offering or drop it off at the church office. We will make sure it gets to Habitat.
