Gratitude

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. . . . If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.”

The Holy Spirit has truly been working among us in our Esperanza community. When we came together for our 9:30 worship last week in a Service of Healing, it was clear that it was “a Holy Spirit thing,” the way everything came together and in the time that it did. I thank you for your generosity of spirit in taking part in something that was a new experience for many of us, but that brought such healing and peace to our community.

In particular, thank you for coming together in that worship service to surround our dear Paul and Cindy Gerrish in love, care, your listening ear, your presence. God’s love is abounding and we can feel it.

I thank God for you.

A thank you from the Gerrish family

We’d like to thank our entire community here for all the generous and heartfelt support given to us through prayers, memories, help, financial support, gifts, cards, flowers, food, and prayer shawls. The outpouring of support has been so heartwarming in the midst of our heartbreak and even beyond our ability to properly keep track and acknowledge all of it. We are so grateful for this community and realize what a blessing it is to be part of it as we have gone through this tragedy, and we have been held up by your love and comfort. We know the Holy Spirit is working through you.
