Got a green thumb? Want to get one? Not sure? You are at the right place!
Several open garden beds are available to be claimed when the Garden of Eatin’, a community garden on the Esperanza campus, will have a Clean Up Day on Saturday, Feb. 3rd, at 8:30 A.M. Those on hand will perform some cleanup of the garden before a potluck brunch.
The garden opened nine years ago and contains 20 raised beds suitable for growing vegetables and flowers. The beds are available for rent on an annual basis, and the $100 fee includes compost and irrigation. No affiliation with the church is required for participation in the garden.
The garden has a new webpage full of information plus a map. Click here to learn all about the garden and how you can become a part of it!
