Garden of Eatin Plots Available

Winter looms in other parts of the country, signaling an end to the growing season, but autumn is actually the beginning of our second annual growing season in the Valley of the Sun. It’s the perfect time to plant beets, bok choy, carrots, lettuce, kale, peas, spinach, turnips, and many other vegetables. See the Vegetable Planting Calendar for Maricopa County

To help you grow your own, Esperanza’s Garden of Eatin’ now has four raised beds available for rent: $100 secures a bed from now through the end of August, covering the autumn and spring seasons. Along with the plot, we provide the water and irrigation supplies, as well as access to our compost and advice from our Master Gardeners.
