I-HELP Volunteer Opportunity – Tuesday, February 24th

Thank you to all of our volunteers who served in person, our contributors who helped pay for chickens, and prayers offered by all of you for the I-HELP ministry.

Blessings are mutual with I-HELP. Guests share their stories and we share our love of God by serving them. I-HELP, which stands for Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program, makes safe shelter, a hot meal, and a warm shower available every night for adults experiencing homelessness.

It also offers one-on-one, personal assistance that provides stability and connects people in need with essential resources to break the cycle of homelessness.

Case management services for those enrolled in I-HELP include:

  • Job placement
  • Medical referrals
  • Bus passes
  • Benefits connection (SNAP & AHCCCS)
  • Housing assistance

Our next in-person service is Tuesday, Feb. 24. Feel free to ask questions or suggest menus to the Outreach Committee. (Note: Our photo missed some volunteers, including John and Brandon carving chickens, and Debbie and Barb taking photos.)
