A concert, Songs of Promise, Grace & Love, featuring sopranos Yayu Khoe and Sunny Valentine with Lai Ma Gates on piano, is Saturday, April 30, at 3:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. There is no admission charge.  This concert will be live-streamed as well.  Click here or visit our YouTube channel.

Also, Esperanza member Louis Coste is giving the first of two Masters solo violin recitals at 7:30 p.m. April 29 in the fifth-floor Recital Hall in the Arizona State University Music Building East, which is the structure that resembles a birthday cake across the street from ASU Gammage.

Coste will be playing Beethoven’s 4th Violin Sonata (3 movements), Grieg 3rd Violin Sonata (3 movements) and Ysaye 4th Solo Violin Sonata (3 movements).

Songs of Promise, Grace & Love will include American spiritual solos and duets by Mark Hayes, Moses Hogan and Joseph Martin, as well as Classical works of Mozart, Bellini, Puccini, Gounod, Charpentier, Offenbach and opera excerpts.
