35th Anniversary Stones Placement Guidance
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the official chartering of Esperanza Lutheran Church, the 35th Anniversary Team invited members of the community to commission customized stones to be placed in our newly established “HOPE” sign in our courtyard. Those stones have recently arrived, and we are looking forward to placing them within the letters on Easter Sunday.
In order to distribute the stones evenly throughout the display, we will be placing stones in four sections on a table in the back of the Fellowship Hall on Easter Sunday. Each section will be assigned to a letter of the HOPE display. We invite you to find your stone(s) on the table on Easter Sunday between or after worship services and place them in the assigned letter. Please note, due to how the stones were shipped to us, we will be unable to sort in advance where each family’s stones will be on the table. If you ordered multiple stones, they may be assigned to different letters of the HOPE display. If you do not remember what was written on your stones, please let Michael Paradise or another member of the 35th Anniversary Committee know and we will help you identify your stone.
Thank you for joining us in celebrating 35 years of Hope at Esperanza. As we celebrate again the hope that comes in Christ’s defeat of death on Easter morning, we look forward to commemorating that hope with this enduring symbol of hope found in this community.
