All are welcome to worship on Ash Wednesday for a service of Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion at 7:00 p.m.
Ash Wednesday begins our 40-day journey toward Easter.
Marking our foreheads with the ash of the palm fronds from last year’s Palm Sunday, we “remember that we are dust, and to dust we shall return.”
And we also receive the Bread and Wine of Holy Communion with the promise of abundant and eternal life in Christ.
It is a day to begin a return to our baptismal call, more intentionally bearing God’s mercy and hope into the world.
