Counselors at the Kyrene School District have requested donations of tennis shoes for children of families in need. The Kyrene Family Resource Center, with whom our church partners, is responding to this need.
Accordingly, we are asking those who attend Esperanza to consider donating these shoes.
Here are the details:
- New tennis shoes for K-8 grades (boys and girls)
- Bring shoes the last Sunday of each month and place in box in Fellowship Hall.
- Remove shoes from original box and tie shoestrings together, so that pairs aren’t separated.
Through mid-April, Esperanza had donated 48 pairs of shoes. Your donation will help these children with confidence, health, and hope. For questions, please contact Larry Hanson at [email protected].
