Last Chance to Participate in the Esperanza Strategy Questionnaire

From October to November, four strategy sessions were held after Sunday services to hear from our members about our strategic strengths and development areas as we deploy ministries to our congregation and community. Six questions were asked in a guided conversation with 21 members participating. We wanted to recap what was gleaned from the process, and give additional members a chance to provide input. If you missed the sessions but would like to provide feedback you are not too late!

Highlights are provided below the survey if you would like additional information before completing the survey.

Please complete by Easter Sunday.   Thank you!

Four key areas were highlighted multiple times as our strengths. Children of Hope Preschool, Promesa de Esperanza Choir, our campus as a gathering place for groups, and our ability to help our members in need.

Some areas for improvement centered around more variety of worship (blending with more contemporary elements), increased leverage of the ELCA resources, service to those in care facilities, strengthening our individual faith journeys, and youth interaction.

These were highlighted in multiple sessions.

The council is now reviewing the more detailed session notes and feedback to weave focus areas into the mission plan that will be presented to the congregation at the annual meeting in May.

Thank you for your time and ideas as putting this feedback into action will make our ministries more impactful!
