Planting Seeds of Faith

People of Hope,
Thank you for the ways you continue to be people who plant seeds of faith in our community. For generations, the community of Esperanza has continued to prepare the soil, plant the seeds of faith, and nurture the growth that has bloomed through the continued engagement and dedication of this community through intentional giving and acts of service done as God’s hands and feet in the world. As the work of nurturing what God has worked in us continues, your financial investment in Esperanza will enable us to continue to be a place of hope for years to come. As our formal stewardship program concludes, we want to thank you for your prayerful consideration, your continued financial support, and your willingness to commit your time and talents to benefit our ministry so that we can continue to Plant Seeds of Faith.
Thank you to all of you who have already completed and turned in your giving intents for 2026. Your faithful response has encouraged our stewardship and finance teams and is a blessing to us all. To date, we have received over two thirds of our goal of 70 intents. Each response is a blessing, and Esperanza is blessed to have your engagement. If you’ve already completed and returned your intent, either online or in person, thank you. If you’re still discerning what a realistic intent response might look like, thank you. We recognize the uncertainty of the times we live in, so if you’ve decided that this year is not a year that you are equipped to provide a giving intent estimate, we appreciate your continued engagement in our work together, and pray you might continue to examine how God has and continues to use you and all your gifts for the sake of the good news of Jesus Christ.
Our financial team has asked us to remind the congregation that any donations received prior to January 1, 2026 will count toward your 2025 giving statement for tax reporting purposes. If you plan to give to the mission of Esperanza between now and the end of the year, you have many opportunities to do so, both remotely and in person during Sunday worship or some of the worship opportunities listed on the back of this letter. We are thankful for your continued support of all of Esperanza’s ministries and pray for and trust in God’s continued generosity within this community so that the harvest may indeed be plentiful.
With Gratitude,
The Esperanza Stewardship Team
