Thank you to those who donated and those who served for I-HELP in August! We served 24 guests, and we enjoyed pasta and sauces — especially Jayne Peterson’s, as she shared what was her great-grandmother’s recipe, spending four hours in preparation. One gentleman said, “She did this for us?” And he was told, “Yes, you are our family.”
We will serve again on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Desert Cross Lutheran Church in south Tempe. Our Thanksgiving dinner will be broasted chicken from Sam’s or Costco, and all the trimmings.

Volunteers will arrive at 4:30 p.m. to pack lunches, set up for serving, and make beverages. Our guests will arrive to eat at about 6 p.m. Plan to stay for dinner with our guests. Personal connection is the most important!
