Thank you to the 15 volunteers from Esperanza who prepared and served a pancake breakfast May 4 at Grace Lutheran Church to feed the homeless in the area. Grace Lutheran Church is located in central Phoenix.
A total of 236 plates of food were prepared. The work began at 6:30 a.m., and cleanup was completed by 8:45. Thank you to the volunteers and also to the families that donated $350 to purchase ingredients for the breakfast.
