Forty spaces are reserved for our congregation to participate in a Feed My Starving Children packing event on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The packing event on that date will be from 9-11 a.m. and will take place at 1345 S. Alma School Road, Mesa. No children younger than 5 are allowed to attend, and each K-2 child needs to be accompanied by an adult. For every three children in grades 3-6 one adult needs to attend with them, and for every four in grades 7-12 one adult must attend.
Donations are not required, although any amount given is appreciated ($106 feeds a child for a year). An opportunity to donate will be made available after the packing event.
Volunteers can sign up on the FMSC website: Volunteer (fmsc.org). You will be asked for a “Join Code,” and it is XWBBVV.
