Before you know it, school will be back in session! Our Outreach Team wants to again provide positive messages to the students, teachers, and staff at Kyrene de la Esperanza Elementary School.
Keep your eyes peeled for more Post-it notes and pens in the narthex to be used for writing inspirational messages. Start thinking about how you can brighten someone’s day with a kind, positive, and encouraging word. Feel free to include your children, grandchildren, neighbors, and friends in the project. Anyone can participate!
Peggy Shepherd will again deliver the completed notes to the school on a regular basis. They will be posted on the Affirmation Wall that is accessible to both students and staff, so they can choose a note that brightens their day.
The students, teachers, and staff are so appreciative of our words of encouragement. They typically empty the Affirmation Wall within a day of the notes being posted!
Grab some notes from the small lectern in the narthex and write some while you are at church, during coffee hour, or at home. Please return the completed notes to the basket next to the Post-its and markers.
