Join us for candlelit yoga with Himalayan Sound Therapy! This practice will begin with pranayama (breath work) and an invigorating, yet gentle practice to help warm-up the body, calm the nervous system, and create more space for energy to flow. We will transition into more yin-like postures, and finally, an extended savasana – where you will go on a sound healing journey. All levels welcome!
- Please bring your own mat. All other props (blocks, blankets, bolsters) are provided; however, if you prefer to use your own, feel free to bring whatever you need to feel comfortable. Some people like to use an eye mask or a soft towel to cover the eyes & socks to warm the feet during savasana.
- Himalayan Sound Therapy has been used for thousands of years for meditation, healing and relaxation. The vibrational sound circulates through your body on a cellular level helping to move stagnant energy – helping to aid in deep relaxation. Kristin is a level III sound bowl practitioner, trained at the Atma Buti Sound and Vibrational School with Suren Shrestha.
