Dedication of the Habitat House for the Jama family that we’ve helped build for the past half-year will begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 2.
The Jama family will be presented the keys to their new home, at 677 W. 19th St. in Tempe (near Broadway and Hardy).
Those who helped throughout the building process will be recognized during a short ceremony.
We encourage you to come and join us. You may tour the house and talk to the family. It’s a wonderful experience.
Lunch will be provided.
Last Saturday, we had a great group of volunteers who completed most of the lengthy punch-list items.
All that remains is to finish installing a few countertops, and cleaning up the house, garage and other minor tasks. We plan on finishing these tasks on Wednesday, March 30, at 7:30 a.m. so that we will be ready for the dedication on Saturday.
Thanks again for all of your support and assistance throughout the past six months of this home build.
